Actually I own both, but thanks for the info. Now I only have to crawl behind once in my main rig and bedroom rig.

Cool! Great tuners. The owners and service manuals are on hifiengine.

Thank you. Good to know. Yes, they are great tuners, especially the 9900. I listen to FM radio every day. Unfortunately, a declining medium.
Because you tweaked me, I crawled behind to see what it says. On the 919, e.g., it says 1A 120/120v. I don't know how you can tell fast or slo blow from the back. Also, unless I actually remove the fuse, I cannot tell if it it small or large.
In any case, I like the new Synergistic Red fuses, so I am going to order them and see how it goes.
Thanks again, Neal
Good one! If it was a slo-blow it would say 1A Slow. Just saying 1A means it is standard blow. 3AG size. My guess is changing the internal fuses may help too. Sonicraft had some big mark downs on Furutech fuses. The $54 fuses are now $30 but they only have 2A but you need three of them if I remember for both tuners. (inside)
