I got one from a thrift store a few months ago. When the wife saw it, she took it to work with her. She says it sounds great ...

PS: I have another one at the house!

You have got to be the luckiest guy on the planet from getting 8Bs to 7Cs to Marantz model 1s and now this for unheard of prices.I think the glorious hand of fate follows you like a guarded angel.Lets not forget the L300s.I'm glad anytime it goes to those appreciate it like you and me as opposed to selling it for a quick profit.
Honest amplification is better than excessive 2nd order distortion anytime.

Score!
I have a Tivoli Model One that I paid full-retail for ($99) when they first hit the market, before the price hikes.
I'va had one for years, although I paid more than $12.00. I keep it by my bedside and listen to jazz while I read and then drift off into the arms of Morpheus. It's a pretty good little radio.
