Hi Michael,
yeah, I was considering them too but just went with the Jupiters from what I was reading how they sound. So far, I'm very happy and go well with he BAT with the Jensen Copper foil PIO. It's only day 2 but they are going in the right direction and sound very good. one thing I noticed is that when play classic rock, this station we get here in San Diego KGBFM 101.5 all the those tunes sound wonderful! No congestion or brightness or compressed sounding, just very nice separation of instruments that I can hear every little detail which before was a little on the congested narrow side. I will let go another 3 days before giving my thoughts on them. I think when I build the DIY Altec VOT I will used them in that Xover.
You will enjoy those caps..Have you ever seen the Russian paper in oil caps or the Russian Teflons? I know some people haven't.
I will have to give them a try soon. you have been telling me about them, so maybe next project I will give them a try. But the Jupiters are sooooo nice! I can't stop listening to music!
No affiliation, there's one on Craiglist in Phoenix now for $85. Do your homework!
that one has a stained front face plate too! wonder what else is wrong with it since there really is no description or anything else! could be a good find tho.
