I find S-2300s on eBay, but not a S-3300 in a long time.
Follow Ups:
The SS Sherwoods from this period seem rare in the resale market. I know af about a dozen uits in the Toronto area and none of the owners are willing to part with them. One owner has the S-9600 and S-9000 amps I am intersted in and he did tell me if he ever decides to part with 1, he'd give first dibs. The S-9600 has been sitting on a shelf for years and never hooked up.
Seems like for us who have discovered them, their value is far greater than the average selling price to the point we'd not part with them. I've had offers for either of my S-3300 and nope, just not on the auction block unless someone wants to pay in the range of maybe a Philips 673 or Marantz 20b. Mine replaced a MR77 so it will give an idea as to the value I place on mine.
I just got a Winegard HD-6000 yagi antenna and the FM sound quality has gone up a couple of notches. I'm receiving KCSM in stereo 44 miles away.

Cool ceiling decoration. Are you going to add a rotar and hang it upside down?
My low tech solution: I put up some more eye hooks to rotate in different directions.
I'm really enjoying this tuner, although I've wanted to try a vintage tube tuner for quite a while I'm not sure I need to now.
