Nah Timbo. Not because that's not a good idea, but because I'm going to practice what I preach and use a good roof-mount Yagi with a rotor. Thank you for the offer though.
Like I said, I my arm was in a sling, and I was looking for something to do. I had the small Yagi sitting there, so up on the ceiling fan it went. It was only on the fan for a few days, but it was so "on the bottom of the WAF scale" that I felt a picture was in order.
As soon as I was able to, I mounted it in the attic, pointed at my favorite station, and it's what I still use.
The five foot tripod has finally been mounted on the roof. As soon as I find the time to, I'll finish the job, and mount my better Yagi/rotor combo. I've had the good antenna in storage for ten years, and it's time to use it!
As for a Sheila in my life, maybe when the word gets out what type of reception I'm getting, they'll be lining up at my door.
Right.

I've tried both, Timbo, with some luck. I work a very erratic schedule, some days, some nights (in the same week), all 12 hour shifts, with never the same days off from week to week.
Not exactly conducive to attending things regularly, or even sleeping regularly.
Thanks for the advice though. I need to find a nurse. They understand crazy schedules.
