I can speak for the 12AX7. It is a Shuguang, I can tell by the triple micas and the supports. That upper mica is not for support, it's to prevent cathode contamination when the tube is being getter flashed.
The shiny supports and just that, supports on either side for mechanical stability. As far as sound goes, I have used this brand many times without incident. They also sound quite good.
The 12ax7's sound pretty good in Marshall guitar amps.
So, all those things you pointed out might make for some nice distortion!

and certainly would not buy that one. I have thousands of audio tubes and maybe have 1 or 2 chinese ax7 that are probably with my "sacrificial tubes" that i would put in equipment for testing or for sale.
All the tubes that i use now are octal types. In my EICO, Fisher, HK, and other vintage units that require an ax7, i would use Tfunken or Mullard/Amperex but i hardly even use them at all.

Tubes are not really designed either for hi-fi or guitar use, only. These looks like typical Chinese made variety (maybe Shuguang). Perhaps, selected.
Maybe, the only guitar-thing is the "rating" gimmick, used by some companies.
Oh, no offense, FL. I am sure you know, the newbie geet player with a tube amp is very much like a newbie audiophile starting off in tubes. Without any context and knowledge, they fall easy prey to name brands and fads and all kinds of advertising puffery. So, the point is standard run of the mill fitty cent Chinese tube with Bugera printed on it, retail price, 19.95. um, I just made up that price, but i bet you i am not far off.
The retail price is 19.99, pretty good guess. It is being sold for 12.99 at that Store.
Most Shuguang 12AX7 are very difficult to like there was one called a C9 IIRC.
"Nice pins."
I see what you mean. :-(
I wonder who makes them?
