Mine may have had black plates, not certain.
They did not work in my amps when used as a driver for 2A3 (stock driver is 12at7).

I know i have seen that tube before but i am not that familiar with using it. Is it not a computer tube.
it is 6414.
The flat glass tip and the odd shaped getter holder look the same as the Raytheons I tried, but I don't recall the plate structure.
Mine came from a tube caddy and I incorrectly thought they were close enough to sub for 12at7 in my amps.
Tried looking at online pictures, but as I do not know how to do window in window on our computer I was unable to decide.
Just hit the "two window" option (top right corner). Resize to half screen.
Now, open another browser section. Do same thing, as above. Set two pages next to each other.
know what to do afterwards.
I'll ask my wife (think she may know how to do it) as it would really come in handy.
My short term and immediate visual memory was tested in the 4-5 range (out of 100;-), but my long term visual memory seems to be fine.
Upper right corner of screen:
Drag, pull, resize until you get something like this (6414 versus 6829):

Raytheon data sheet says it is. I never used this tube, so I don't know how good it is as an audio tube.
