The reissue Mullards are reasonably priced like in the 35 to 40 dollar range.Like Steve said,the Sovtek is dam good as well..
What I would do If were you is get 4 of these Schotkys for a couple dollars each..You probably need two but they are cheap and they are quiet as can be..Not only that,you will get a slightly higher B+ and that will equate to lower distortion and a hair more power.

You can use a 50ohm 10 watt resister after the diodes and it will drop the power to that of a gz34. Along with what John recommends in the below post and even just four 1n4007's it never looses anything at all compared to real Mullards etc. In my opinion it's a must do with a st70 due to the limitation of a single rectifier.

If you want,I can make you one those Schottky bridges up that you just plug in like a tube into that same socket the same way you do a tube.
It will be much cheaper than a tube.It would run about 10 or 12 dollars.
