To use a blue tube because you like the aesthetics the I can recommend the JJ blue glass E34L. That is the correct designation E34L. They just slightly larger than a regular EL34. The sound all around is very good and I found them to be quite durable. Some say they have a more extended and pronounced bass.
That sounds a lot like the description for the JJ KT-77

They are not as big as the KT-77 and aren't as big sounding either, they are much closer to a regular EL-34.
I was one of the poor souls who tried the first version of the JJ KT-77 which of course arced and took out a socket a resistor and various wires. That experienced turned me off of them, despite knowing that they have addressed the problems with that first generation.
