You have any photos? AFAIK, 12AX7 STR tubes are simply 7025 clones. Heater wound filaments to help reduce hum.

Yes - that's what the tubes look like. I believe you are right with low noise and these have a 7025 print. Afaik the code nomber indicates (maybe) several customer mods (like upside down/long life etc.).
I've never used the Sylvania 7025. The RCA 7025 are very good tubes. One of the best & most underrated of the 12AX7/ECC83 types, IMHO.
