I just cracked the case.
There are two tubes internal, a "Magic eye" tube, and a mystery tube. Of course, I don't know what the mystery tube is. All I can see is a 9-pin socket.

6BQ7 or 6BK7 as I recall. Eye tube is a shorty 6AF6.

That's strange the manual you have doesn't list the tubes. On the BAMA site the link for the flip chart data has a scenario that looks to be a 12au7. Have to scroll to find the schematic. This for the 107B though. Not sure what the fifference is? Looks like some of their other models use a 12au7 as well. Hope this helps.

Just noticed something, my model 7 has a selenium rectifier.... going to have to change that.

Good catch. That's beyond my technical expertise. I just learn as I go. So you would replace with with a silicone diode and a resistor from what I understand.
