Hi Everyone. Where do you guys get your tubes online? Thanks.
Follow Ups:
I've been very pleased with both new and vintage tubes purchased from a reputable eBay seller "wpc1896". He is responsive when contacted, ships fast, packs well and the product is excellent and as described. I have no connection other than being a happy customer.

If you want old stuff (10,26, 01A...) and not necessarely NOS, that can be a good spot.
BTW how do you use epay?
Jim McShane certainly.
Brent Jesse is as good as they come for NOS tubes, great selection, excellent customer service and has good bargains if you go by his recommendations.
I realize there are bad sellers out there but I have yet to encounter one.
Brent Jesse is my fave. He will turn you on to the sleepers and bargains.
High sensitivity, wide dynamic range, low distortion, and smooth frequency response. Pwk

My first choice is always Jim McShane. Like having a friend in the tube business. honest!!! and he has always helped pick good tubes for all my gear.
I've had pretty good luck with Brendan, at Tube World. Esp older NOS stock.

that I've had good experience with...
- Radio Electric Supply www.vacuumtubes.net
- The Tube Store www.thetubestore.com
- Parts Connexion www.partsconnexion.com
- Brent Jesse Recording www.audiotubes.com
and on eBay, no hesitation to highly recommend seller "angst46"
Good luck in your hunt.
Not affiliated with any of the above.

I used to buy a lot of 5751s from ANGST- there was no 46 on the name when I used them. They were very, very good. The only issue is that they but are/were located in Australia so shipping took a little extra time.
There are quite a few with angst as part of the seller name. Not sure when they added the 46. Good of you to mention they are from Australia as indeed that is the one's I mean. Angela + Steve = Angst. Wonderful to deal with.
Cheers!

It was Angela and Steve that made up the Angst I bought many 5751s from. They started selling rectifiers and 6SN7s mostly. I had most of those ones I wanted, or had good sources for them so lost touch with them. I should take a look at what they are selling nowadays.
Forgot to add very positive experiences buying from Jim McShane. I was able to buy a matched octet from him, excellent tubes.
My experience with some:
Jim McShane - Answers emails promptly, fast shipping, quality tubes.
Upscale Audio - Good advice, thorough testing, can't go wrong.
Tube depot - never replied to emails, not going to bother with them.
CE dist/Amplified Parts/Antique Electronic Supply - great price, fast service. I got some rattling JJ tubes, they refunded my money minus shipping and made me pay for return shipping too. Going to avoid them.
Tonal Tubes on Ebay - Tubes have been reliable, great price and service.
Thank you for the kind words. I did want to mention that I haven't been able to live up to the "fast" part for a bit though.
I contracted a severe viral infection right about March 3rd and today (the 21st) is the first day I've been able to work at all in nearly two weeks. I'm still far from 100% but I'll be able to put a few hours in today. You can read more details on my site if you like.
So I just wanted to apologize to people who tried to reach me. I WILL get back to you ASAP, but it's going to be a bit... I'm off to the doctor again tomorrow so I'm hoping for good news.
Ive been there done that all last year but I fixed the problem by taking pro-biotic 10 vitamins along with CoQ-10 and Krill oil..Been feeling great the last 7 months. I feel for you tho.

The flu is really hard on us as we age. Take it easy, your reputation is secure.
They matched my KT120 tubes to my amps actual operating point with excellent result and matching within2%.Impressive service. Really good tubes the outperformed my 6550/KT88 both sonically and measurement wisehttp://tctubes.com/

I have purchased both NOS and new production tubes from them, and found them to be completely reliable. And their precise matching for your specific amplifier operating points is going above and beyond most others.

Epay: if you know what you want and know your tubes it is a gold mine.
Absolutely agreed. ;-) I think that we may be in the minority here, but just like you I like sourcing most of my tubes there for several reasons.
The hunt. It's fun. If you know what you are looking for, and educate yourself beforehand, you can walk away with what you need at a fraction of the price.
These days, you really can't go wrong if you're diligent on the 'bay, with their guarantee.

I've used (in no particular order): Upscale Audio, Cryoset, Tube Depot, and Jim McShane. IME, all of them provide more than competent service with comparable pricing. It comes down to, more or less, what exactly you are looking for as to which would be the one of choice.
+1 on the above, especially for new production.
Thanks guys. Keep em coming. None mentioned above carry what I am seeking.
What are you looking for?
Happy Listening
