I would caution that the KT150 ratings are listed under the "Design Maximum" rating. This is a less conservative rating scenario than the common "Design Center" values which are used on many tubes. I would recommend that you NOT operate the tube at or very close to 70 watts. 50-55 watts would probably be safer and certainly easier on the tube.
Check the link below for a great explanation of the 3 tube rating systems. It's the best explanation I've seen - the chart at the end is GREAT!!

I know of no commercial amp designed to use KT150s at the upper end of the ratings. And there is the 2 amp heater. They are pretty looking tubes though.
And I agree with the 48 watt suggestion. I wanted to point out the rating system difference between the KT150 and many other power tubes though. You can't compare one to the other without knowing the differences.
