B+ is 440vDC, NOS 6L6 would work but not 6V6

I thought you could easily change resistor ;they made a 6v6gt

Sorry i made a TYPO:i meant capacitor not resistor.
Even though I get piled on every time I mention it, the JJ KT 77 is a good sounding tube and cheap to try.
I prefer KT 66 but have only tried NOS GEC KT66. Based on my experience with their KT88 and 6CA7s, I would try a Pisvane or Shuguang black bottle KT66 if your so inclined. About twice the price of the JJ KT 77, similar to the GL.
