The innards look American made, but the getter support looks like the Tungsram 12AX7. Halo getter. They have a seam in the glass that runs vertical on the sides and across the top.

I hedge my bet on a Japanese tube, Matsushita-Philips to be exact.
I have tons of Japanese tubes. They're quite varied, but there are tell-tale signs which set them apart, mostly the glass and internal design, sometimes the paint and branding.
From what I have seen, all Philips products, EXCEPT those from Japan, had acid etched codes to demark their factory/country origin.
Your tube has the seam but no acid-etching, supporting the Matsushita theory. I don't think it's from Hitachi-Japan or Korea as they never had seamed glass like Philips did, as far as I know.
I think we're looking at an ECF82, branded for an American market under "National" (who bought tubes from a variety of producers who set up shop in Asian Tiger countries).

May your tubes be lively, warm, and long-lasting. Holy be thy heater.
WAG... Ei? Any Philips/Mullard date codes?
It's possible they are EI. The EI 12AX7's that I have (Telefunken copies) have the single seam like these.
