Got these four Mazda 6CG7 for my CJ PR12 but they seem to be a diferent version from the short glass version that is been posted by other Inmates.
Anyone familiar with this version ?

Whenever you see a painted on label on a tube you should be really suspicious of its provenance. It looks like the label is sprayed with white paint. Most labeling on originally manufactured tubes have a different appearance. I would also guess that yours are a Japanese or maybe Korean tube. Not that there is anything wrong with tubes from those countries. Cheers, Dak
I suspected that they could be fake.
Always learning...
More often then not, when you see the " Mazda Valve " written on the boxes or tubes, they're British makes, which are generally Mullard or Brimar, as Ediwan makes or quite rare in themselves.
Correction, I meant " Ediswan ".
i think this just a rebrand , the original mazda is shorter and i have been told they very nice sounding tubes
I don't mind trying a pair if i can find them reasonable price.
i bought them NIB/NOS, 12 USD each.
Which rebrand ? Any idea ?
these either Japanese or American tubes .
Is there any code on the glass?
No codes on the tubes.
I have a pair that lok the same ;there is an ethched code and
6cg7 /6fq7 stamped on the base ,which is pinched .
Do they have steams on top?
Mine are marked Tungsram ;i prefer every usa made 6cg7 in my
c-j gear
