sorry i did means to ask Cetron tubes.
Peter
Currently owned by Richardson Electronics (RELL), supposedly still making tubes.
History of Cetron by Skylab: http://www.audioasylum.com/audio/tubes/messages/21/215937.html
What I find most interesting regarding the history posted by Skylink (which I haven't independently verified) is that the first tube they made in '72 following the name change was the 300B. This decision couldn't have been made with much priority given to profit. The owner must have been an audio enthusiast. :)

Buy Chinese. Bury freedom.
If you meant Cetron, they mainly made (and rebranded) transmitting tubes.
