In your preamp, you decided on the A2900, whereas, in my phono amp, I preferred the Tele ECC801S. With SS, you are locked in to the designer's choices. Ok, if you were really serious you could remove the transistor and put in a different brand but how much of a hassle is that to change an active device. cheers, Dak

Posters use the often heard caveat, "Your mileage may vary."
I believe that the "sound" of a vacuum tube depends on the circuit in which it is placed and its neighboring tubes. I also believe that the designer/manufacturer tweaks the circuit, using a certain stock tube. Tube enthusiasts may stray from the stock tube parameters, but should not stray too far. This quandary is the elation and the bane of vacuum tube rollers. My condolences if you are one of them.
That way YMMNV, your mileage may Not vary.
Condolences???
Who died? I don't want or need anyone's condolences.
Maybe, you need a different hobby if you feel that disturbed if someone uses a Tele instead of a GEC in a phono preamp. YMMV, Dak
