Are these tubes Mullards? They are marked Made in England on the bases. Can't find a Mullard that matches them.

They look a lot like the early Tung Sol after the round plate and before the mouse ear versions. Does the guide pin have a centered hole. If what the majority think is true, these are NOS/NIB Bogus tubes.
How do they sound, anyway?

Definitely not mullard. russian, most likely.
If you can get a photo of the getter and it looks like a cone, then fer sure it is a Russkie tube. But, just on general appearance and the brand it is certainly NOT a Mullard. cheers, Dak
"Made in England" is code for Russian 6N8S made during the cold war when Russian imports were banned. I am always amused to find JAN tubes "Made in England." Note: real tubes from Great Britain are labeled "Made in GT Britain" or "Made in Great Britain."
What shape is the getter? The glass looks rather thin. Wondering if they aren't Russian.
The getter is a round disc with a dimple in the center.
