$8.90?!? For that little bit of plastic? Whoa, that's amazing. Can you remove them? Might be better to remove and just pay close attention to how pins line up when reinserting. The pin is not mandatory, but it do make things more idiot-proof.

That's for a package of four. In 2009 I bought a packge of 4 for $10 so the price has gone down to $8.90 for the four.

They work just fine; but you may have to trim the stub left by the original post so that the replacement fits flush with the tube base. The original post needs to be completely gone. An exacto knife works well to whittle away the remains of the post.
My thoughts as well $9- for that does seem like extortion. I have made do by marking the keyway bulge on tube base and amp and just lining them up. If however a replacement keyway were more in line price wise ? a $1 a piece,? I would avail myself to them. Anybody an entrepreneur with access to a plastics factory?
