Has anyone here compared the Psvane Treasure globe 6SN7-SE vs the Psvane CV181T-II? If you haven't compared them have you heard either of them and if you have, what were your sonic impressions?

There is not a lot of love here for these tubes. I think the originals are very good. I have a pair of the UK 6SN7's coming. I have not heard the gray glass but as I understand, they are more linear than the originals. The round version...I have no clue and at $300 a pair I would like to see some reviews. Ditto for the gray glass.
SETdude thanks for your time and for the information about the Psvane 6SN7-UK tubes! I asked about those 6SN7 & CV181T-II tubes for a fellow online who read that I have been using a Mastersound Reference 845 amp since 2001. The problem is the Reference 845 amp uses the 5687 as " driver " tubes, which I replaced with Bendix 6900 tubes a long time ago.
Unfortunately for Pol, the fellow who wrote me about his Compact 845 amp. His amp uses 6SN7 tubes as " driver " tubes and I was clueless as to what to recommend as even possibly being the " best " 6SN7 tubes for him to purchase for his Compact 845 amp. At least now, thanks to you, I have an informed recommendation to give him! Thanks again for your time & help...
