Interesting.
So there can't be too many choices if the tube was made in Germany. Siemans, Telefunken...... Who else made tubes in Germany?
Substitute the circled 9 in the first tube for a 10 and you have my tube. The 9 must have some significance.
Thanks

I have a buddy that brought over a Siemans 6DJ8 and the construction looks identical. Even the print on the glass that says Made In Germany looks identical. Now did Siemans make it or did a third party make it for both companies?

As far as I know, Siemens did not have other companies manufacture for them. It was normally the other way around such as their making the "Telefunken" 7DJ8. I do not believe that RCA, for example, ever made a 6DJ8 tube but you will see them branded RCA with a German manufacture designation. Those were made by Siemens also.
In the photograph, lower right you can see the equal sign with a vertical line going through it. As I remember that indicates it was manufactured by Siemens in their Munich plant.

Love the Hamburg made 1950-60s Valvo tubes. RFT were East German. Lorenz was another West German made tube manufacturer.
