This is the text in the service manual of the Marantz CD6000 cd player,
Here are the factory mods to upgrade it - what do they mean exactly by "short circuited" on 3249 to 3714?
"The CD6000 KI is equal to the CD6000 OSE except the following electrical

Follow Ups:
That just means there is a jumper
shorting the two pads/points.
