What do people like for NOS 12BH7s? And what sound profile would you attribute to them?
Thanks!

Thanks all. Using a pair of RCA black plate - quite happy. Lots of detail, yet warm.
I found it depends on your output tubes, and amp of course. I have listened to every 12BH7, 12BH7A made just about. As I am the ultimate tube tweaker. Running KT88 I preferred Matshushita seemed a bit more holgraphic with the KT88. But running El34 I preferred RCA black plates. They seemed to extend the bass a bit. For sure the RCA is the warmest I have heard.
GE 12BH7 to me was cold, with Sylvania not far behind it. But that was just in my amps.
Been using some 1958 Raytheon Black Plate Square Getter 12BH7As in my McIntosh MC-30s for a couple years and they sound great.
Cheers

Only GE and RCA, but I've tended to gravitate to the RCAs for their smoother temperament in my own gear (ST70).
Cheers,
K.
I've used black, ribbed, oval plate Sylvania 121BH7A. Nice tubes. Clean tone.
A little dark, though, compared to the RCAs. Can be a nice change of pace.
