Time has come to shift most if not all my excess valves that I thought I might use one day. Don't want to give them away but I would like them to go where they can be appreciated. Is the sales section on the forum a viable place to sell. Other hobbies have taken over since 2012 and I have slowly drifted away from music and collecting valves, can't see myself giving racing pigeons away so I suppose now is the time to part with these and most of my idler turntables.

Not really good right now.
When the overall economy is soft...disposable income suffers and tubes are not a necessity...like going to the dentist...unless you have to.
Hang on to them until a better market.

Hi,
Should you decide to liquidate your tubes, please alert us...I'm looking for VT-231's and 6SN7's. :-)
Thanks.
Vbr,
Sam
I have 6SN7s to part with. I used to use them a lot and had/have a big stash, but am not using them any more to speak of. Feel free to let me know what you might need.

I appreciate them.
It is unlikely you are going to get rich as a tube reseller. You can contact someone like Jim McShane around here or offer up things on the Asylum Trader.
How can you drift away from music?
Unfortunately we do not have any dealer in Western Australia that I can go to with these valves so I will need to sell them privately. They can and have been tested on my AVO Mk4 tester.

I live in Perth WA. If you want, send me a list of what you have available. I can share this list with my loacl friends who are into valve equipment.

If it's a large and varied supply consider contacting a tube dealer. He can test and resell them.
If you have a few very desirable tubes they should be easy to sell. Otherwise selling individual tubes can get tiresome making a thousand small deals to a few with unreasonable expectations can become irritating. (is this a run on rant?)
the Asylum Trade has always been a good place to start.
