1940's Tungsol made 12AU7. Perhaps, relabeled RCA?

Yes one of them does the other has more clear glass. Both of them are labeled RCA all over them. I think your right, I looked at the eBay black glass 12AU7 offerings all are Tung Sol.
What do you think of the sound. As I said I am very impressed as an owner of Amperex 7316s, Mullards, Telefunkens and several others including later RCAs. I remain impressed as all get out with this evidently early Tung Sol version.

Some of the best 9-pin 12AU7 and 12AX7 tubes that I've used come from this era. Usually mil spec. It's hard to find nice strong, quiet NOS ones anymore.
I haven't tried any 12AT7 made in this time frame.
