cross posted to vintage, my apologies.
A local parts store is seeking to liquidate their older inventory. Most of their vacuum tubes are already picked clean (audio types). but the original owner sponsored a ham club and stocked a lot of transmitting tubes:
Eimacs, Taylors and Gammatrons. The daughter and manager is willing to part with them very cheaply. I already have some in my collection, but I have a feeling they are prepping to ell the store and from what I paid for the tubes I got, the prices would be extremely cheap, but I don't know my transmitting tubes ( sorry no RCA 211 845'a)at all.
If there is any interest, I can pick them up for cost plus maybe few bucks for handing. Seems a shame if they were to dump them...

Many of the Eimac Tantalum-anoded Transmitter Finals have a shelf life. These tubes must be run at rated plate current conditions so they get orange hot and will thus scavenge any gasses that has made it into the envelope. They literally go bad if left on a shelf. Be careful about getting too excited by these...
