I'm surprised that you are using the 6L6 tubes in your Rogue amp. When I called Rogue service, I was told not to the use the 6L6s in my Stereo 100 amp.
Did they say why?
I know I told them I was using the KT66s and I'm pretty sure we discussed 6L6s. The Cronus was originally designed around the EL34 so it could have different parameters than the Stereo 100.
Nick from Rogue said that the voltages used on the ST100 were too high and that he advised me not to use the 6L6. Granted these are two different amps but I thought I would bring it up nonetheless. Dave
Use 6L6GC rated tubes for higher voltages.
TungSol 6L6GC and TungSol 6L6G are good.
Both are GC rated.

When I said 6L6s, I meant 6L6Gs and 6L6GCs, not the original 6L6s.
6L6GCs are rated to 450V.
Are you higher than that?
KT66s are just 500V.

I don't know; I should check. I do know that I discussed these tubes with Rogue and they didn't have a problem with them.
