Not warm but not hard either.
Dynamic and fast.
Very impressive.
One of my two favorite tubes.
(Tungsol 6L6G is the other tube -
complete opposite warm and intimate.

Dan.....Are you referring to NOS Tungsol's ( 6L6G ) or the current re-issues? If you're talking the newer versions, they're certainly worth a look as they're quite reasonably priced. Thx
Oops.....looks like the "coke bottle" 6L6G's are running around $200 a quad. Not a deal breaker if they really sing, but not the sub $100 a quad version I've seen before.

The 6L6G is GC rated in a coke bottle
So it will work were ever you use a KT66
