In another audio forum I came across a couple of members who were considering the use of "German Ceramic 6SN7 GTs."
My understanding is that that are and were no German 6SN7s. Has anyone else heard of this German tube? I would like to know who manufactured it and where was the ceramic element ?base ? or spacer etc. Anyone know about this?
Thanks
Steve

Yes, RFT. Consult JAC.

How they sound? I installed a match quad set of RCA red base on my Rogue Audio 99 Super Magnum and they sound amazing, but I'm always interested to hear other tubes.

Nope. Ask JAC.

Have you ever heard them? I bought some telefunken branded 6SN7s a while back and was told there were no Telefunken 6SN7s. I think it was also said there were no German tubes but the picture proves that incorrect. I might have some other German tubes.
These guys seemed to be speaking in hushed reverent tones about these "ceramic" tubes. I guess that is another one I keep an eye out for. Thanks for the info-
Steve
The RFT 6SN7 appear to use ceramic rather than mica . Nothing sepcial about RFT 6SN7 , I believe Telefunken 6SN7 were manufactured by RFT
