Looking at the chart, why does a 6BQ5 have the plate setting at 400 volts, while the EL84 setting is 325 volts? Same tube, no? Wouldn't a 7189 need a 400 volt plate voltage, but 6BQ5/EL84 use the 325 setting?
You have to look real close but the EL84 is right under the EL34 but it's an easy mistake.

You can only change the plate and the bias. Look at the tube data sheets and set up your own tests.
