Hello all
I wandered over from the diy tube forum. I am looking for good sites on identifying tubes that don't have the numbers on them, especially ones with pictures of the inner structures. Also looking for sites that give ways to tell the different brands and types (again with pictures) such as the RCA black plate 12AX7. I have found a few sites on the web, but nothing all inclusive. Does anything like that exist?
Thanks for any help

Thanks folks, it's a start.

Observe, before you think. Think before you open your yap. Act on the basis of experience.
It can be fairly impossible to tell what a tube is by just looking at it, especially with certain 12AU7, AX7, and AT7 tubes that all look about the same internally.
I have found a few things regarding the 12AX7 black plates that help a lot. I am hoping to find some for other popular tubes as well.
Check the photos posted on that site.
Thanks, I will check it out.
