After considering what would be an actual "change" I think the Magnapan Mini's that Mike recommended would be the way to go. Also I trust Mike's judgement better than my own! I just have to ask Mike one or two questions. With the mini's, would you recommend two DWM bass speakers or just the one?
My Zaph Audio SR-71's are wonderful. So I can't see any significant differences by just going with another two way speaker. Not to mention I just can't imagine any improvements.
I've done the full range driver thing years ago and honestly, it left me a little indifferent. Considering the cabinets and the top end problems and the eventual need for a super tweeter - ah, I'll move on now.

The nice thing about the Maggies is that you can send them back if they don't work for you..The other ribbon you might consider and I have these in my second system if the NewForm research. They are very easy to drive and can handle up to 450 watts but you only need 15 watts to drive them to nice levels.

Air, what happened to your three way A25's? They should work very well with tubes.
I was running those for about 10 years. Finally the cabinet that was a "recycled cab" started to not only rot but it become filled with mold. For a lack of a better description - trashed all the drivers. Being the woofers tripled in price, from $65 to now $159, it became impractical to rebuild it.
So after a few years I recycled the parts to other projects. And wouldn't you know a pair of Seas 25FeW woofers fell back into my lap. But I recycled the tweeter into my Zaph Audio SR-71's, used the parts for other projects and I have NOOO Idea where the midranges are.
So I have the Seas woofers but that's about it. Any right now I am very happy with the SR-71's as far as traditional cone speakers go.

That's a bummer. I always wished that I could hear your A25 three ways. I'm glad that the Zaph Audio SR-71 are filling the void.
Which amp are you using with these Minis? I missed that part somewhere.
