Thanks for getting back to me. When you pull the chassis cover to roll tubes in your Jolida pre-amp, could you describe tube location by looking at the tubes from the faceplate towards the back, and let me know which tubes are on the left, towards the transformers, 12at7s or 12ax7s?

Absolutely, I am trying to remember but don't want to steer you wrong, so I'll be pulling it next Thursday evening after work. Will post as soon as I confirm.
Wanted to let you know I am working late tonight so I won't get to the Pre until tomorrow (Friday). Sorry about that but have to support this habit. Will post tomorrow evening.
Thanks for remembering about my dilemma. Whenever you get the time I'll be most appreciative.
Ok, finally got this beast out. The AX7s are on the right hand side as you look in the top from the front. AT7s on the left hand side front to back. Bear in mind this is the Fusion. Good luck, I am rolling tubes as we speak (nothing wrong, it sounds really good). Just want to see the difference.
Now that I'm sure of the proper tube layout, I've been doing some rolling. I'm trying new issue (Russian) Mallard 12AX7s and JAN Philips 12AT7s. Sounds pretty damn good.
Thank you for letting me know the tube layout. I've heard that the Fusion, Envoy, and 3000, all share the same basic board, so I think I'm safe in following what you've observed. What 12ax7s & 12At7s are you using now? Please share your thoughts on the different tubes you roll. Once again, thank you for taking the time to help me out.
I switched the 12AX7s for Tungsol ECC 803S goldpins, the 12ATs are replaced by NOS Mullard CV4024s. Finished late last night and so far so good. Replaced interconnects with balanced from source to amp so there are some variables that have to settle in. Will advise as I get some hours on them.
