Hi Tim,
Yes, we got past that - then last Saturday we had 5" of rain in 12 hours. At one point rain was falling at over a 6" per hour rate. That's above most you'd find even in a rain forest. Fortunately we got through that one pretty well, at least there were no 90+ miles per hour winds like the week before.
Those sorts of events are becoming far too common - we've had 3 rains that fell at a rate over 5" per hour - THIS YEAR! And that's after the 92" of snow we had this winter.
I'm afraid these storms are now "normal"...
Thank you SO much for asking Tim - that''s really considerate of you!!

I think your weather took up where my health left off.
Honest amplification is better than excessive 2nd order distortion anytime.
Hi Mikey,
It's good to see you up and about again, I hope you're feeling better every day!
They're saying "strong storms" tonight - so we'll see what happens. The generator is ready...
Hey, jim and Mike, hope you,are both OK, Age, we have no resistance to, Water indoors is about as hopeless. Make the best as you can, and thanks for your posts!

Sorry to hear about your weather situation. I hope you don't have any property damage. Here in NJ we got 7" of rain in 3 hours. On a good note, I can now go sailing in my back yard!
But not to worry because winter is just around the corner. And all that rain will be pretty white snow. Geeze I gotta move to Arizona!
See ya soon for some tubes.

Ride the storm out Jim!! ....But you may have to put your Citations on stilts, for all they can do sonically, I heard they don't float too well...;)
We are in serious drought here in California. The latest is that they will cite anyone with a sprinkler water running down sidewalk or washing car with a running hose.....
Pretty soon, no shower will be allowed....

Our house and garden now has a primitive grey-water system.
One open lidded 600l tank, a submersed AC mains pump with a float switch and lots of old hoses and T-connectors. trickle, trickle.

When i moved to the San Francisco area in 77, Marin county was eestricting water use to about 40 gal/day, NO outside watering, no car washing. They had a saying"if it's yellow let it mellow, if it's brown flush it down".
