If your amp uses 4 6sn7s, one pair are probably input tubes and one pair are drivers for the 300bs. I would have the pairs matched but not necessarily all 4. You can use 4 of the same type, but I would suggest using different pairs of tubes for the driver and input sections. Gives you more room to "flavour" the amp to your liking.
Lots of info here on which 6sn7s people like for each job but until you try them in your amp and system you won't know what you like best.

Thank you. If the 6SN7 tubes sit in a line from left to right, can I assume that the two outside tubes have the same function, e.g., input, and the two in-between are the same?

You should be able to tell if you can follow the circuit board, it will be the same on both sides. If not, check the amps instruction book if you have it, look for info on your model on the internet, or contact the manufacturer (Divergent Technologies is the North American distributor I believe).
