Does anyone know what this is? My brothers and I are clearing our dad's house and found this Harmon Kardon radio, but can't find a model number at all. I'm trying to work out if its worth anything or is sadly for the tip. If anyone recognises it or knows where I might find the information I'm looking for I'd be very grateful. Many thanks!

Thank you both very much. Here are photos of the top and back. The sides look the same as the top. It looks like the back is meant to be open, unless the original back has been removed at some stage.
for some reason the picture didn't post, I'll try again.
Ok, it is not a receiver, it is a mono tuner. Looks like the T shaped object, on the right, is an antenna with provisions for an external one on the strip in the center. It looks like it could be a prototype.
Do you think in that case that it could be worth something? At least to the right people? I just don't want to throw something away that could be valuable.
It is certainly worth a shot on eBay.
The top...
It looks like an earlier version of the Harman Kardon Festival receiver (see link) which was from about '55-56 or a lesser expensive version of it.
I just found this on the net:
" Since 1953 Harman Kardon has been manufacturing audio equipment, in fact there first product was an FM tuner, in 1954 they manufactured the first receiver (Festival D1000) then in 1958 the worlds first stereo receiver"
So that makes me think it is a tuner only with preamp level outputs only. Can you photograph the back?
Looks like a very early mono receiver as it has a source switch. Please provide more photos of the rear, top and sides.
