"I'm looking to improve on bass power and extention of the two tubes I have."
There is only so much tube rolling can do regarding the above. The amp has to be capable of delivering the bandwidth etc.

Setdude, Well of course that would be true to some extent. Your comment does not preclude the fact that different tubes have way different characteristics in every aspect, including bass.
Yes they do but there are limits to what a given amp can provide by rolling tubes. If an amp has 'average' transformers etc. you will not be able to improve bass beyond a certain point.
Tweaker,
I got good bass from the TS RI's in my Decware Mini Torii. I'm sorry they did not work for you.
So am I. They are very clear and focused, but
My point is that you may have reached the maximum bass your amp can provide.
Setdude, I have listened to 3 different tubes. 2 of the three have much deeper and better bass in my situation than the TSRI's. How could it be that out of all the 6v6-708 tubes in the whole wide world that there would not be better tubes than the two I have with decent bass. The GE 7408 the HK- Syl 7408 and thePhillips miniwatt 6v6 all are reported to have vg bass. Tweaker
