I'm looking for someone in the Los Angeles area to test some 300B and 5U4G tubes (four to six tubes).
My tester will not test these types.
Thanks.
Follow Ups:
Use a Multi-meter's resistance check in Continuity mode (set meter to its' highest resistance setting) to test for inter-element shorts. If there are no shorts, the tube may be safely inserted in an amplifier without incurring damage; the amplifier itself can access the tubes' fidelity in-circut (which, BTW cannot be checked by a tube tester).
Thanks for the tip, Ron.
I'm seeking test scores in anticipation of selling some tubes, and buyers will want details.
