A question to inmates who ordered KT88-Z or KT66-Z tubes from Goodcomponent.com. I've got an impression that he has limited supply of those tubes. According to his web site, "one pair is packed in a black box" and "one pair is packed in a luxury box". Does it mean that if I want to order a quad of KT88-Z and/or KT66-Z tubes, one pair will be packed in a black box and the other pair in a luxury box?
Besides, he offers cheap single ended amplifiers based on EL-34B tubes. Has anyone tried to order them?

I would suspect that he can get all he needs as these are Chinese products and whoever shows up with money gets the goods. Sent him an email and ask him directly. He is a really nice guy and responds quickly. Many inmates have bought from him and are happy campers. Better than the alternative of dealing with Grant who will just lay a bunch of attitude on you and come across like he invented the vacuum tube and owns the factory.
There's a vendor on Audiogon advertising Black Treasures/shuguang/psvane for significantly less than Grant. That 'exclusivity' sure took a dive.....
I'm quite curious about the umm 'leads' posted here to obtain PSVANE T tubes.
Has anyone noticed the information on Grants site reveals three levels of grade (good, better, best) within the Treasure tubes with different price levels. So when these tubes are being offered from 'other' sources - what grade would one be getting for the money?
Excuse the added comment derived from a discussion I had with Folks here - 'they' said You would think it to be better - considering the extent of the boast or marketing, to JUST sell the best and be done with it. After all - maybe it would be better to have the GL KT77 instead of a grade C or even the grade B of the Black bottles tubes!
Has anyone here ever revealed if they are comparing or praising which grade of tube?
