These are among the only tubes recommended for use in the Audible Illusions M series preamps. They are sturdy and sound quite good as well.
If you have NOS Siemens or Philips 7308s to use in more critical areas these will make great tubes for the less critical spots as well.

IMO, they sound much better than the Sovtek/Reflektor 6922's.

Yes, but it's the maker and not the design, IMO. The Voskhod's, particularly those from the '70's and ealy 80's, sound much better to me than their Reflektor/EH counterparts.
