Dude, that is a sinful bargain. Good job!!
If the power supply waveform isn't pretty, neither is the sound in most cases.
not bad. Deals are out there, it's like anything - it takes some effort to find them but the payoff can be worth it. Luck isn't found, it's made. ;-)

I got these a few months back from an antique store for 50 cents each.
The 10 Amperex 6dj8 Bugle Boys all came in those RCA boxes. All NOS.
The other four are all tested and selected by Tektronix in Tektronix boxes, NOS.
All 14 tubes have the Heerlen Holland etched codes.
I wish I could do that every weekend!

deals like this were common place. But not any more, not around here.
I only have use for the 5687 and 7119. I guess I should ebay the rest along with most of my tube collection. Though they do come in handy doing amp repair.
Some of the guitar players around here have figured out that I'm not just a studio tech and that I repair guitar amps well and for a lot cheaper than the shops. (and with a shorter turn around to boot)
And then there's the tube Hi-Fi building and repair.
