I'm looking for a budget amplifier to complement a Bottlehead Foreplay. I haven't purchased the foreplay yet so I have not ruled out an integrated. Budget is $300.My speakers are Voigt tubes and have a efficiency of about 89db and I have a tiny listening room so wattage can be pretty low and should not be too high.
I'm open for new, used, kit, but not DIY unless there is a fantastic design that will save me enough money that it's worth the time. I've got some circuit experience but I don't want to sink that much money into something that I could very likely scree up.
I prefer something that is pretty common because I do not have alot of time to look for one(I promised my reciever to my mother for her new HT).
Follow Ups:
Vintage power amps generally offers the most bang for buck. For $300, the first one that comes to mind is the Eico HF-86 or Pilot SA-232. Both uses EL-84, an extremely musical and good sounding tube.
Take a look at the ASL Wave 8's. They sound great and within your budget.

What is a mail order source(online or not) that sells ASL gear?

TS Audio 34.1 aka nOhr SE 9. it's about that range (at least here in the philippines) it's an integrated (passive) with two inputs.

I'd prefer something with 3 inputs as I use all 3 of my sources pretty evenly. I'm also leaning towards individual amp/preamp as opposed to integrated because of my need to adjust level goign into soundcard when I record LPs to CD.
