Most of us aren't real patient. Some of us don't even believe in the phenomenon.
I use Duelund Cast Caps in my speaker crossover.
These particular caps require a few hundred hours of break in depending on their size. I ran mine (15 uF) for 400 hours - no luck. I put them on an Audio Dharma Cable Cooker and blasted them for 5 days. That did it. They are pretty amazing in all respects - incredibly natural and transparent.
As to value, I make no judgments. They are horribly expensive. Some people just want to listen to music. Who can blame them?
