You are very observant because that's exactly what it is..You can't measure any ripple so all we are picking up is a slight noise due to shielding on the probe..You have to go down to the 2mv scale to see anything at all which means there is no measurable ripple.

Regulation, not the pass device type, is (IMO) what's important. There are distinct advantages to using a SS pass device, but, as is so frequently important, implementation details govern the quality of the end result. How, rather than what, is critical.

Exactly.
So many tube purists have shamefully downplayed the importance of good solid state devices where they can be very useful in purifying the DC sources without injecting themselves into the audio path.
