Actually this worked really well for the final tweaking of the amp. It was very easy to switch parts out to get things just the way they should be. Of course one does want to use a good deal of care when doing this ......

Surely you recognize your own design! It's my version of your 26/26/45 amp. I was just doing the final tweaking to get everything where I wanted it. It sounds great by the way.
Don't worry, it's on a variac, and I never change anything out with the power on, and I always have my left hand in my back pocket!
...till you "wire" that amp up with some "good" wire !
Then Vinnie you will "start" to hear what you got !
