I measured a pair of these (FT4725698) a while ago - 4120 Ohms loaded with 8 Ohms, a little lower with 4 and 16. They were among the best transformers I've seen - impedance and phase pretty flat to 100 KHz. A little more primary inductance than a Stereo 70 OPT, and a third of the leakage inductance.

Thanks for that helpful info Tom. I also have a TA5000, but stripping it down and making measurements is further down on my list. I wonder now if the TA260 iron is as good. I have two sets of those as well. Again, haven't made measurements regarding response.

Hi Tom,
Thanks for sharing the results of your measurements on these transformers!
Also nice to know that these transformers are measuring so well.
BTW, have you already build something with these transformers?
These transformers could be used to build a 6L6 push-pull amp, but maybe you have other tube types in mind?
Best regards, Tubecase.
