OK..... so I want to breadboard a fil supply for a DHT using a
LC filter, a real tube, plus hum bucking pot etc. My question is
if I get the voltage spot on, on the breadboard, will anything change
once the tube is put into the circuit and conducting at full B+?

Maybe - I've gotten changes in voltage when moving from long flimsy clip leads to actual heavier guage wire. Other than that, I don't suspect there will be substantive differences. Even this may not be an issue, depends on the filament current.
Hi Steve
Thanks for the comments. One of the tubes I will be working with
is fairly high current @ 6.5 amps, so I guess we will see.
