Yes, tried to post schematics but it would not post.
Assuming the 33k resistor is one of the two series drop resistors in the schematic (labeled 53k and 39k) my first guess would be a leaky power supply cap.

In your schematic, it says 53k resistor, but in every other schematic I have, it is a 33k 1w resistor and that is what was in my amps. But yes that is the resistor that burns up.it is between the 40uf and 20uf caps positve leads. What every is causing the resister to over heat, could that also be causing the hum?

Yes.
A leaky cap will draw current and cause hum and cause the resistor to get hot.

Have rechecked the power supply.
All power caps are brand new nichioin, all negative leads go to ground, all positive leads seem to be correctly wired, small resistor is not over heating, just the 33k 1w resistor over heats.
