you know, the glue manufacturers like to apply to components like caps.
It's sticky, gooey, and doesn't come off easily.
Do you have a secret?
BTW, this is in reference to a claimed 120 watt Peavey Duel 212 tube guitar amp, (with transistor circuitry for things like tone and effects.) It's got 4 12AX7's, 4 6L6's, with monster power and opt's for a guitar amp. US-built and very good build-quality with no ic's, all discrete circuitry including Dale resistors, an Aromat relay, Nichicon electrolytic caps, yellow film caps, and a high-quality glass circuit board. Obviously meant to last for years under the grueling beating only a musician can hand out. The only thing not impressive is the weight, (80 lbs), a large part of that can be blamed on the robust particle-board cab, (and those monster transformers.)
can you tell I'm impressed with the build-quality?
My other question is,why Peavey seems to be the "Rodney Dangerfield" of equipment? I doubt any other mass-market maker did a better job with construction.
a keeper, and oh, it sounds great.
